Mrs. Beckes is in her fourth year at Montessori Children’s School (MCS). Originally from Wisconsin, she has lived in various states including North Carolina, Hawaii, and Arizona, following her marriage in 2005 to her best friend, who joined the Marine Corps. Together, they have two teenage daughters.

With a certification in Early Childhood Education, Mrs. Beckes has accumulated extensive experience working with children across different settings. Her background includes roles as a Sunday School Teacher, Girl Scout Leader, Kindergarten Aide, CDC Preschool/Infant Classroom Assistant, and most recently as an Art Teacher for Pre-K to 6th Grade.

In addition to her diverse teaching experiences, Mrs. Beckes has completed Montessori Teacher Assistant Training. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys the outdoors, including hiking, visiting the beach, kayaking, and traveling with her family. Mrs. Beckes has started her Early Childhood (Ages 3-6) credential training through The Center for Guided Montessori Studies.
