Outdoor Education with Mr. Patterson
Mr. Patterson leads the Outdoor Education Program where MCS students learn about nature, animals, helping to plant garden beds, and getting their hands dirty in some soil!

Literacy with Ms. Stephanie

Locally Delicious through the NC Cooperative Extension
Locally Delicious focuses on an in-season fruit or vegetable. Children learn how it grows, nutritional facts, and how to cook or eat it. This program is presented to the Primary students once a month.

Yoga & PE with Coach Lewis
Coach Lewis provides children’s yoga and physical education classes that promote flexibility, balance, strength, coordination and body awareness. Along with the physical poses, she incorporates songs, stories, breathing exercises along with mindful practice to make it fun! In each session she includes all three styles of learning; visual, audio and especially kinesthetic.
