Ms. Glykeria “Ria” Tzuridis is joining Montessori Children’s School (MCS) for the 2026–2027 school year. She brings a background in psychology, a passion for child development, and a heart for serving others. She is excited to support students as they develop confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning within the Montessori environment.
Ms. Ria earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Her studies have focused on child development, emotional well-being, and healthy cognitive growth. Prior to joining MCS, she gained valuable experience in customer service, explored the field of medicine, and has been actively involved in her church community. These experiences have strengthened her skills in empathy, communication, problem-solving, and relationship building.
Ms. Ria believes every child has unique strengths and the ability to thrive when supported in a nurturing, respectful environment. She is passionate about encouraging curiosity, fostering independence, and helping children develop a love of learning that will serve them throughout their lives. She looks forward to becoming part of the MCS community and learning alongside her students.
Outside of school, Ms. Ria enjoys reading, spending time at the beach, taking road trips, watching movies, and continuing her graduate studies. She also enjoys spending time with her family, including her three beloved pets, sipping Greek coffee, and relaxing with a good Netflix series.
