Ms. Alexandra Dixon “Ms. Alex” is entering her second year at Montessori Children’s School (MCS) and serves as the Upper Elementary Classroom Assistant. A native of North Carolina’s Crystal Coast, Alexandra has lived in several places along the East Coast but has always considered this area her home.
With more than four years of experience in Montessori education, Alexandra is passionate about supporting children as they develop independence, confidence, and a love of learning. She values the Montessori approach for its respect for each child’s individuality and its ability to foster growth at a pace that honors the unique needs of every learner. Her dedication, positive energy, and strong relationships with students make her a valued member of the Upper Elementary team.
Alexandra is currently pursuing an Associate of Applied Science degree in Health and Fitness and hopes to continue her Montessori journey through future Montessori certification training.
Outside of the classroom, Alexandra enjoys spending time with her family exploring nature trails, visiting parks, attending sporting events and practices, and making memories at the beach. A self-proclaimed foodie, she is always excited to try new restaurants and adventures.
