Ms. Carol is entering her fifth year at Montessori Children’s School (MCS) and serves in the Primary Program. She brings a wealth of experience working with young children and a deep appreciation for the unique gifts each child brings to the classroom. Throughout her career, she has found that some of her greatest lessons have come from the children she has taught, shaping her understanding of education and child development.
Ms. Carol holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education and Psychology. She has completed her Montessori Early Childhood Diploma through the North American Montessori Center and earned her Early Childhood (Ages 3–6) credential through the Center for Guided Montessori Studies. Her commitment to lifelong learning and authentic Montessori practice reflects her dedication to supporting each child’s natural development.
Originally from New England, Ms. Carol has embraced life in North Carolina and enjoys being part of the welcoming MCS community. She is passionate about creating a nurturing, respectful environment where children can develop independence, confidence, and a love of learning.
Outside of school, Ms. Carol enjoys spending time with her husband, taking advantage of North Carolina’s beautiful weather, relaxing outdoors, and connecting with family, friends, and neighbors. She appreciates the simple joys of everyday life and the meaningful relationships that make a community feel like home.
