Classroom Floater

Kaleigh Whetzel

Ms. Kaleigh Whetzel is returning to Montessori Children’s School (MCS) for the 2026–2027 school year as a Classroom Floater. She brings a diverse background in education and human services, along with a genuine passion for supporting children as they grow into confident, compassionate, and independent learners.

Originally from Maryland, Ms. Kaleigh earned an Associate’s degree in Human Services. Her passion for helping others led her to work as a Counselor Aide at a psychiatric hospital in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, before pursuing her love of education. She spent two years as a Kindergarten Prep Teacher at a daycare in Bethesda, Maryland, and later taught Year 1 at a British International School in Sierra Leone, where she embraced the opportunity to learn from a new culture while inspiring young learners.

Now entering her second year at MCS, Ms. Kaleigh enjoys supporting students across multiple classrooms and building positive relationships throughout the school community. She is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Security Services and is committed to continuing her professional growth while helping each child reach their fullest potential.

Outside of school, Ms. Kaleigh enjoys attending concerts, spending time at the beach, and making memories with her family.
