Kelsey began her journey with Montessori Children’s School (MCS) in 2014 as a Teacher Assistant in the Primary West Classroom. She completed the Trillium Montessori Teacher Assistant Training in 2019 and took on the role of Self-Guided Lead in Primary East in 2021, working under the mentorship of Primary Level Coordinator Maegan Brusaw. In the Spring of 2025, Kelsey took on the role as Primary Level Coordinator.

Kelsey has recently earned her Primary Montessori Diploma in Early Childhood (3-6) from the North American Montessori Center. She has held a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Kentucky since 2011.

Passionate about the Montessori philosophy, Kelsey values how it allows children to pursue their interests and learn at their own pace. She has two children who are enthusiastic about their experiences at MCS.

Outside of her professional life, Kelsey enjoys spending time at the beach—her happy place! She also loves gathering with friends and family and cheering on her children at soccer games.
