Mrs. Kelsey Keller is entering her tenth year at Montessori Children’s School (MCS) and serves as the Primary Level Coordinator. She began her journey at MCS in 2014 as a Teacher Assistant in the Primary West classroom and has grown into a respected leader within the school community through her dedication to Montessori education and child development.
Kelsey completed Trillium Montessori Teacher Assistant Training in 2019 and became the Self-Guided Lead Directress in Primary East in 2021. In Spring 2025, she transitioned into the role of Primary Level Coordinator, where she supports teachers, mentors staff, and helps ensure consistency and excellence throughout the Primary program.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Kentucky and recently earned her Montessori Early Childhood (Ages 3–6) Diploma from the North American Montessori Center. Kelsey is passionate about Montessori education and believes that children thrive when given the freedom to explore their interests, develop independence, and learn at their own pace within a thoughtfully prepared environment.
As both an educator and parent, Kelsey values the strong sense of community at MCS. Her two children have also attended the school, giving her a unique perspective on the Montessori experience from both the classroom and family viewpoints.
Outside of school, Kelsey enjoys spending time at the beach—her happy place—as well as gathering with friends and family and cheering on her children at their soccer games.
