Ms. Lorrie has been a valued member of the Montessori Children’s School (MCS) community since 2015 and serves in the Toddler Program. Working alongside her longtime Montessori mentor, Ms. Hampton, she has developed a deep appreciation for Montessori philosophy and the unique developmental needs of young children.
Ms. Lorrie holds an Associate in Arts degree with a concentration in Early Childhood Education, along with certifications in Early Childhood Education and Infant & Toddler Care. With more than 20 years of experience working with children, she brings a wealth of knowledge, patience, and compassion to the classroom. She is passionate about creating a nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to develop independence and confidence.
Growing up in a military family allowed Ms. Lorrie to live in many parts of the United States, giving her a broad perspective and an appreciation for diverse backgrounds and experiences.
Outside of school, Ms. Lorrie enjoys spending time with her family, photography, swimming, painting, visiting the beach, and exploring new places. Her warm personality and dedication to young children make her a cherished member of the MCS community.
