Pierce Clawson is a dedicated third-generation Montessori teacher, passionate about fostering independent and spontaneous learning in children. As an AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) graduate from the Montessori Institute of Milwaukee, he holds both Upper and Lower Elementary credentials and brings a rich legacy of Montessori education to his role.
Having been a Montessori student himself, Mr. Pierce deeply appreciates the interconnectedness of subjects in the Montessori Elementary Curriculum. He believes that the freedom and autonomy provided by the Montessori Method significantly contribute to a child’s self-esteem and overall development.
Mr. Pierce earned a Bachelor of Arts in Photography from UNCG and a Master’s degree in Montessori Education from Loyola University. He is currently pursuing his Adolescent credentials from the Center for Guided Montessori Studies.
Entering his fifth year at Montessori Children’s School (MCS), he continues to be inspired by his passion for music and the enriching possibilities within Montessori education.
