Shiaquieta Carlton is beginning her third year at Montessori Children’s School, serving as a Floater and Aftercare Coordinator. A proud U.S. Air Force veteran with a background in meteorology, Shiaquieta brings strong communication and organizational skills to her work. She has also taught Sunday School for four years and is currently—at her own thoughtful pace—pursuing a B.A. in Elementary and Special Education.
Guided by love and empathy, Shiaquieta’s favorite part of her role is connecting with students and helping them discover what they are truly capable of. She embraces Dr. Maria Montessori’s belief that “Of all things, love is the most potent…” and strives to create a warm, supportive environment for every child.
At home, Shiaquieta stays busy with her two teenage daughters, two dogs, and a cat. In her free time, she enjoys crafting, DIY projects, crochet, reading, coding, and listening to true crime podcasts.
